Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Avondale House is seeking an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join us in our education Program at Avondale House serving students with autism.

Avondale House is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit agency that provides, educational services to individuals with autism, a day habilitation program for adults, where clients receive training in daily living skills and pre-vocational activities, residential homes for individuals unable to live in their own home, and employment services. Avondale House has been serving individuals with autism since 1976.

In the BCBA role, you will coordinate, develop and write BIP/IEP's for students, monitor student behavior data profiles and academic performance with staff, collaborate with related service providers to implement Functional Communication Training, OT/PT skills as determined by each student's ARD, attend admission, review, and dismissal (ARD) meetings when appropriate, prepare written reports as requested, provide telephone consultation as needed, train staff, and work with staff throughout Avondale House to meet the needs of each student.

The perfect fit for this position will hold a BCBA certificate, have direct experience working with individuals with various developmental disabilities especially autism, and excellent leadership, communication and presentation skills.
